Confidence Calculation Model

Every geocoded or validated address contains a confidence score from 0.00 to 1.00.

Confidence is calculated based on:

  1. Coordinate Accuracy: Rooftop geometry vs Street-level centroid vs LGA polygon.
  2. Component Match Ratio: Percentage of user input tokens matching verified database entries.
  3. Data Freshness: Verification date of the spatial feature.
